Pokemon Shuffle, Hoopa Reveal Trailer, Nintendo Anime Channel & Charizard Amiibo

Update: Nintendo Anime Channel and Charizard Amiibo News

Today’s Nintendo Direct revealed a new Pokemon game that will be available for the Nintendo 3DS called Pokemon Shuffle. Similar to Pokemon Battle Trozei, Pokemon Shuffle focuses on shuffling Pokemon tiles and trying to get the tiles of the Pokemon in the same row or column in order to reduce the HP of the Pokemon being displayed on the top screen. More damage is made when taking type advantage into account. It will also be possible to capture, mega evolve, or obtain items to help you through the gameplay.

Pokemon Shuffle will be made available for the 3DS in February 2015 for free, but payments can be made in-game on certain features or items.

In other news, the Pokemon Company has released a short trailer showcasing Hoopa within the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games after CoroCoro revealed its official existence a few days back for the new movie.

UPDATE: Nintendo Direct has also revealed a new service with the release of the New Nintendo 3DS in Europe. Nintendo Anime Channel is a service that will be available for those living in Europe and will launch with the new version of the 3DS. North America will only be receiving the New Nintendo 3DS XL. No further details have been made available as to which episodes will be available.

Charizard Amiibo was also showcased on Nintendo Direct. It will be made available in spring for those in North America.
