It has been announced that Lucario, the 4th generation Pokemon, will be available as a playable character for the upcoming Wii U and 3DS game: Super Smash Bros. Lucario has been available ever since Super Smash Bros. Brawl (available only for the Wii). It is currently unknown whether the player will have access to Lucario’s Mega Evolution, but I believe we could possibly see some Pokemon with Mega Evolutions making an appearance.
The only other announced playable Pokemon is Pikachu.
Hulu (including Plus), the large streaming service available online, and on game systems, will be adding Pokemon XY episodes, additional Diamond & Pearl seasons, Pokemon Origins, and movies (Giratina and the Sky Warrior, Arceus and the Jewel of Life, and Zoroark: Master of Illusions) to their library. At the moment, Hulu has available Pokemon: The Rise of Darkrai and season 10 of the DP series.
Hulu is free for online viewing, however, Hulu Plus (available on most current gaming systems) charges a fee of $8 per month (with some advertising).
The Pokemon The Series: XY premiered earlier today in the US and the first major thing to notice was that they re-used the lyrics from the season 1 opening as their opening for XY; however, this version is slightly different since it is a remix version. Nonetheless, it was great to see them go for the good ol’ season 1 opening as it not only serves as nostalgic for the older Pokemon fans, but it just sounds amazing overall.
I was just browsing through the site themes and came across this rather clean and amazing design and decided “why not?” The layout is much more easier on the eyes and looks more professional compared to the previous two. Let me know what you guys think about the layout in the comments (which is now located at the top of the post, on the bar for easier access). If you have any site suggestions, feel free to let me know as well.
GameFreak & Creatures Inc. of Japan had established a trademark for PokeTouch last month, which had gone rather unnoticed. It is currently unknown the exact details regarding the title, but we can assume that it is an upcoming game that is in development by the company.
If any details pop up, we’ll definitely have the update here!
