Deoxys Distribution Event & Pokemon Best Wishes: Da!

A Wi-Fi Deoxys distribution event will be taking place on May 8th and will run till May 31th for those who have Pokemon Black 2 and White 2. Deoxys will be at level 100.

This event is similar to the Masuda’s Deoxys event which took place in Japan last year. We currently don’t know whether they will be making any changes to the attacks from the Masuda event. I’ll be sure to keep you guys updated if anything pops up.

Last week, Pokemon Best Wishes Season 2: Da! started. This arc of season 2 will be the final one for this generation. Ash and friends travel to the Dekorola Archipelago, which are islands located away from the Unova region. There, they will face many adventures, old Pokemon, and dangerous situations.

Here are the current/upcoming episodes:

  • Farewell Unova! Setting Sail Once Again!!
  • Sweet Honey is Filled with Danger! [Just Aired]
  • Cilan the Connoisseur Detective! A Locked Room Mystery on the Open Sea!
  • Farewell, Oshawott?! The Path to Becoming Scallsword King!
  • Zoroark in the Fog!
  • Rotom and Professor Oak

Mewtwo’s New Form Possible Origin

A few weeks ago, Mewtwo’s new form was revealed and caused confusion and surprise to many Pokemon fans. Some fans really liked the design and felt as if it was an “upgrade” to the Generation I Pokemon that stood to be one of the most prominent Pokemon during that time period, however, some feel as if the designers are relying too much on forms and completely ruined the Pokemon that remained closely to their heart.

The feeling of encountering Mewtwo in the early games and watching it on-screen in the first movie really did provide a nice feeling that cannot be expressed. Now, this all leads to the question of the possible origins of this mystifying form.

Was this form upgraded shortly after Team Rocket created Mewtwo? Is this a new Mewtwo altogether, created by the new region’s bad guy team? Or did Mewtwo just automatically learn this form-changing skill? What do you guys think?

Pokemon Smash to Reveal Info Next Week

It has been confirmed in this weeks Pokemon Smash episode that next week (April 7th) they will be revealing more information regarding Pokemon X & Y. Near the end of the show, Junichi Masuda was shown holding a poster with a question mark, which potentially could be indicating a new Pokemon. Maybe they will reveal a trailer possibly? Nonetheless, this episode is something that I will be keeping an eye on.
